Tremella (Tremella fuciformis) has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries, prized for its capacity to deeply hydrate tissue and support the lungs—the organ system TCM associates with the skin. It produces polysaccharides with a molecular weight smaller than hyaluronic acid, allowing them to penetrate more deeply into tissue and hold moisture at the cellular level.
This elixir is made from wildcrafted tremella fruiting bodies, triple-extracted with grain alcohol, water, and coconut glycerin to draw out the full range of its constituents—the hydrating polysaccharides, the antioxidant compounds that address oxidative stress, and the lung-nourishing fractions that work systemically rather than topically.
